Digital menu for snack, shawarma and fast food in Berkane
A snack bar in Berkane lives on its rush hours: what counts is how many orders go out right in one hour.
Berkane, home of the clementine and of RS Berkane, sits a short drive from Saïdia beach. Summer and the families back from Europe change everything for its cafés and snacks.

RS Berkane has won African titles and every match is an event in town, dressed in orange. On those nights, match mode applies one price list to the room and a minimum per table, and a manager can switch it on from their phone.
In July and August, Moroccans from France, Belgium and the Netherlands come back to the Oriental. Their children often read French better, so each guest picks a language on the menu and the waiter keeps their own in the app.
Nearby Saïdia resort draws big summer crowds, and many guests stop in Berkane on the way there or back. A takeaway link shared on WhatsApp lets them order on the road and pay at the counter.
Summer brings extra waiters for a few weeks. Each one gets a 4-digit PIN and their tips are counted in their name, then you remove them from the team in September.
Service in a snack bar, shawarma place or fast food
A sandwich is cheap, so margin comes from volume and extras: cheese, fries inside the sandwich, a drink. A menu on the phone shows those options to every guest at the right price, without the cashier having to think of it.
A Moroccan snack bar often mixes two services: the counter, where guests order and pay first, and a few tables to eat in. At peak hours the queue grows in front of the till and whoever takes orders becomes the bottleneck. Every minute spent repeating "no onion, Algerian sauce" is another minute of queue.
A service with Tablilo
- 1The guest scans the counter or table QR and builds the sandwich with its options.
- 2At the counter, the guest pays at the till: the order goes to the kitchen as soon as it is paid.
- 3The kitchen screen shows the ticket with "no onion" in plain view and the waiting time.
- 4When the kitchen taps "Ready", the guest's phone rings and the number shows on the counter screen.
- 5A takeaway link shared on WhatsApp also lets guests order before they arrive.

Frequently asked questions
In summer I hire extra staff: how do I track what each one collects?
Each waiter has a PIN and their own tables, and every payment shows who collected it. A table closed without payment alerts you at once, and at the end of service the cash difference for the day appears.
What if the kitchen runs out of chicken?
Mark the ingredient as sold out: every item that uses it is greyed out on guests' phones until the next day. Nobody orders a dish you cannot serve.
Does the guest need an app to be told the order is ready?
No. They keep their order page open on the phone, and it rings when the kitchen taps "Ready". The number also shows on the counter screen if you have one.
