Receipt printer and cash drawer for snack bars and cafés

Looking for POS software for a snack bar in Morocco without buying a full till system? Tablilo sends bar and kitchen tickets, bills and invoices to a 58 or 80 mm thermal printer and opens the cash drawer. At the end of the day, you print the Z report.

The problem: handwritten tickets and an unchecked till

In many snack bars and cafés, orders are shouted, the cook remembers what he can and the waiter copies the bill into a notebook. One forgotten sandwich, one drink not counted, and the day ends with a gap nobody can explain.

With Tablilo, every confirmed order goes to the right place: the drinks ticket to the bar printer, the food ticket to the kitchen, the bill to the till. The drawer opens from the till, and every payment stays in the reports.

How it works, from guest to cash drawer

The guest orders on their phone, or the waiter keys the order. The waiter confirms with one tap and the tickets print: drinks at the bar, dishes in the kitchen. When the guest pays, the bill or invoice prints and the drawer opens.

Each device has roles: bar tickets, kitchen tickets, bills and invoices, cash drawer. In a small snack bar one tablet can do it all; in a bigger restaurant each station has its own.

At closing, the Z report prints from the till with the day's sales, cash, card terminal and tips.

Setup: a thermal printer and the RawBT app on Android

Tablilo prints to ESC/POS thermal printers, 58 or 80 mm. On an Android tablet or phone near the printer, install the RawBT app, connect the printer in it (Bluetooth, USB or network) and set it as default.

In the dashboard, under Team and devices, then Printers, turn on this device's roles and paper width, then tap 'Test print'. The cash drawer plugs into the ticket printer.

Limits and good practice

To be clear: direct printing goes through the RawBT app on Android. On a computer or an iPad the browser prints with its print window, and the cash drawer only opens with RawBT. Tablilo must stay open on the device that prints.

Thermal printers have no Arabic, so each dish can have a ticket name in Latin letters. Tablilo has not been tried on every printer model yet: run a test print during the free trial, before your first service.

Who benefits most

Snack bars, shawarma and fast food in counter mode benefit most: the guest pays at the till, the ticket goes to the kitchen, the drawer opens. Pizzerias and restaurants get clear kitchen tickets, and cafés a clean bill and a reliable Z every night.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a specific printer brand?

No. Tablilo prints to ESC/POS thermal printers, 58 or 80 mm, through the RawBT app on Android. Not every model has been tried yet, so test yours during the free trial.

Can the cash drawer open from an iPad?

No. The drawer, plugged into the ticket printer, only opens with RawBT on Android. Keep an Android tablet or phone at the till.

Can tickets be printed in Arabic?

The guest menu and screens, yes. Paper, no: printers have no Arabic, so you give each dish a ticket name in Latin letters, such as 'Tajine poulet'.

What is the Z report?

The end-of-day summary: sales, cash, card terminal and tips. It prints from the till in one tap.
