QR code menu for restaurants and cafés in Morocco
With the Tablilo QR code menu, every table gets its own sticker. Guests scan it with their phone camera, read the menu in their language and order from the table, with no app and no account. Your team gets the order with the table number and quantities.
Start the free trialThe problem: worn menus and a waiter who never stops
Peak hours in a Moroccan café or restaurant look the same everywhere: a full terrace, one person taking orders, stained paper menus that need reprinting every time a price changes. Guests wait to order, then wait again to pay.
A digital menu fixes the slowest part of service, taking the order. Guests order when they are ready, and the waiter spends the time serving.
How QR code table ordering works
The guest scans the table's QR code. The menu opens in the browser in French, Arabic or English, and they can switch language with one tap. They see photos if you added them, short 3-second videos, diet and allergen tags with a filter row, and the Wi-Fi password in one tap.
They add items and send. The order lands on the waiter's phone, the waiter confirms with one tap, and it goes to the bar or the kitchen. The guest follows the status: sent, preparing, ready, served.
Prices are always computed by the server, never by the guest's phone. If the network drops, the menu still opens after a first visit, and the order resends itself when the connection comes back.
Setup in the dashboard
Sign up with 3 fields and choose your venue type. Tablilo gives you a starter menu with Moroccan items, already in French, Arabic and English. Adjust prices, add photos if you like, then print the A4 sheet of QR stickers from the dashboard.
Out of something? Mark the item sold out and it shows greyed. If an ingredient runs out, every dish that uses it is greyed until the next day. Many venues are ready in one evening.
Limits and good practice
A QR menu does not replace your team: someone still confirms orders and serves. Some guests prefer to order by voice, and the waiter can key the order for them in the waiter app. If you worry about shared links or fake orders, turn on the optional 2-digit table PIN. Clear photos and plain dish names are what sell.
Which venues benefit most
Cafés and tea rooms with big terraces save the most time. Restaurants benefit from photos and a three-language menu for tourists. Snacks, pizzerias and fast food can use counter mode: the guest orders on the phone, pays first at the till, and the phone rings when the order is ready.
Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. No app, no account.
Can I change a price or remove a dish during service?
Yes. The change shows on the menu right away. A sold-out dish or ingredient stays greyed until the next day.
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. You print the QR stickers from the dashboard, the team uses their own phones, and any tablet or screen can be the kitchen screen.
How do I try it?
Create your account on the sign-up page. The trial is free and the starter menu is ready for your venue type.
